Mohammad Asif's ex-girlfriend, Veena Malik, added to the woes of the embattled pacer saying he has evidence of their involvement in the mounting angle and has been in contact with bookmakers in the recent past.

Veena, who has a highly publicized break with Asif earlier this year, Asif said on television that used to be in contact with a bookmaker named Dikshit Indian, who paid for the creation of political parties.

"Asif used to call bookmakers in India and the bookmakers, both on the phone of his servant. I have evidence that the exchange of messages with the bookmakers," he said, waving around a document with a list messages.

Malik Asif broke after marriage according to the wishes of their parents.

Veena had filed a lawsuit against Asif for the recovery of some Rs 13 million this year after separation, with the cricketer denied that he owed nothing.

After an exchange of ugly accusations in the media, both reached an agreement on the intervention of a mutual friend.

Veena said Asif had told her that Pakistan did not win any test of the series until 2010 and that the money was good to win the configuration work without affecting the outcome of games.

"I have no evidence of their involvement and I can prove that he and some other players were also dedicated to creating the Australian tour," she said.

Malik also said that Asif had paid bribes to escape a longer suspension if he tested positive for doping during the Indian Prime Minister League two years ago.
