Veena, who has a highly publicized break with Asif earlier this year, Asif said on television that used to be in contact with a bookmaker named Dikshit Indian, who paid for the creation of political parties.
"Asif used to call bookmakers in India and the bookmakers, both on the phone of his servant. I have evidence that the exchange of messages with the bookmakers," he said, waving around a document with a list messages.

Veena had filed a lawsuit against Asif for the recovery of some Rs 13 million this year after separation, with the cricketer denied that he owed nothing.
