State Finance Minister, Anam Ramnarayan Reddy is expected to present Andhra Pradesh budget on Friday, Feb 17 but a shocking a news rattled the state government.

If reports are to be believed, 21 state government websites have been hacked by cyber intruder. The hacked websites reportedly carry information regarding the upcoming budget.

Citing the activities, it seems that the intruder tried to show that they are not some radical hackers who hacked the sites to steal some information but they showed their capability.

Here it can be mentioned that the hackers did not goof-up with the homepages of the sites but they added extra web page links with different messages.
The 21 government websites include departments of Gazette notifications, government orders, commercial taxes, GAD, horticulture, factories, remote and interior area development and many others.

Meanwhile, the state finance minister assured that the budget proposal have not been hacked. However, Sanjay Jaju, State IT secretary, claimed that the government can not confirm the news of hacking as they were not sure whether it was hacked or infected with virus.
